Caleb Williams liked a video of Chicago Cubs fans chanting his name

We’re less than a week away from the start of the 2024 NFL draft, and while there’s sure to be a lot of intrigue, there won’t be much with the first overall pick.

Former USC quarterback Caleb Williams has been seen as the top prospect for a while, and the Chicago Bears’ decision to trade Justin Fields all but solidified the fact that they intend to draft Williams.

Chicago sports fans are dispensing with any drama as they’ve already embraced Williams as the Bears’ new franchise quarterback. On Friday, a group of Chicago Cubs fans at Wrigley Field began chanting Williams’ name.

Williams, who began his career at Oklahoma before following Lincoln Riley to USC and winning a Heisman Trophy in 2022, is considered one of the best draft quarterback prospects in recent years.

He’ll be joining a Chicago franchise that is desperate for top-tier quarterback play after spending decades searching for it.
