Oh no, Angel Hernandez. Not again!
We’ve seen the umpire make some really, really, REALLY bad calls over the years behind the plate, and what he displayed on Friday night fell right in line with all of that.
Texas Rangers phenom Wyatt Langford was at the dish against the Houston Astros’ JP France, who threw him some pitches on the outside corner that definitely look like they missed each time. France, of course, kept hitting his target, but this wasn’t his fault. And the last pitch for strike 3 looked EXTREMELY outside.
