Golden State Warriors guard Chris Paul was visibly frustrated with the officiating on Wednesday night and he let the refs know.
After the 12-time NBA All-Star was issued a technical foul in the second half of Golden State’s loss against the Dallas Mavericks, the veteran opted to give the ref a taste of his own medicine. The longtime NBA guard decided to give Matt Myers a symbolic technical foul of his own.
While the decision is inevitably more consequential to CP3 than to Myers, it led to a funny moment on the court that fans don’t get to see very often:

Paul was automatically fined $2,000 for the technical foul and could potentially receive an even steeper discipline for his actions. It was his third technical foul of the season, per Spotrac.
It was (likely) the first time that Myers was hit with a technical foul of his own on the court during an NBA game, but he won’t face the same scrutiny that CP3 will.
