Yes, Caitlin Clark will still play in March Madness after declaring for the WNBA

The college basketball world got the answer to one of its biggest questions on Thursday as Iowa superstar Caitlin Clark announced she was declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Basketball fans instantly lit up at the thought of Clark playing with the pros  this summer — almost certainly with an Indiana Fever team that holds the No. 1 overall pick.

But if you’re worried Thursday’s announcement means the immediate end of Clark’s time in college basketball, fear not. You’ll still get to watch Clark baffle defenses all March long.

Despite declaring for the draft, Clark will first lead her Iowa Hawkeyes into the NCAA Tournament where they’ll be one of the favorites to cut down the nets.
