Shaq channeled Jimmy Butler by wearing an emo hair unit on NBA on TNT after losing a bet

You’ve seen emo Jimmy Butler (who just recently resurfaced). Now, I present to you emo Shaquille O’Neal.

Yep, Shaq Diesel adopted Butler’s training camp look, rocking a “man unit” for Tuesday’s airing of NBA on TNT. Apparently, O’Neal lost a bet and a new hairdo was how he had to pay up, though he didn’t seem very happy with how the unit turned out. Normally bald, Shaq used his screen time to solicit a better-looking unit in Atlanta.

If the whole Shaq-with-new-hair thing sounds familiar, it should. O’Neal isn’t a stranger to trying new styles as a result of a lost bet. In 2020, he had to grow out a very pushed-back hairline after losing a bet to Dwyane Wade.

Gotta respect Shaq for sticking to his word on these bets.
