Caitlin Clark will forever be immortalized in college basketball history after she became the NCAA women’s basketball all-time leading scorer two weeks ago. Now, Iowa is making sure the spot on the court where she broke the record will be remembered too.
Carver-Hawkeye Arena now sports a decal on the hardwood at the exact spot Clark made the long-range 3-pointer that pushed her past Kelsey Plum. It features Clark’s last name sitting underneath her number 22 in black font outlined in yellow.

An image of the decal shared by the Iowa women’s basketball X account puts into perspective how ridiculously long the shot actually was — 35 feet from the rim — though Clark makes those logo-bombs with regularity.
She finished that Feb. 15 game against Michigan with an Iowa single-game record 49 points.
