The Chargers hiring Jim Harbaugh boosted L.A.'s Super Bowl 2025 odds with DraftKings

The Los Angeles Chargers adding Jim Harbaugh as their new coach has DraftKings much more confident in the team’s Super Bowl 59 odds.

After news of Harbaugh’s hire broke, DraftKings bumped up Los Angeles’ Super Bowl 59 odds from +3000 to +2500, which means Vegas has more confidence in Justin Herbert getting his first ring than it did before Harbaugh was coaching him.

It’s not the world’s biggest uptick, but it is a public boost in confidence for the Chargers’ chances in the AFC next season. While Los Angeles still has work to do in free agency and the draft, this coaching hire is a huge step to potentially getting the team back into major contention.

We’ll see if these odds continue to spike in the months to come as the Chargers make more offseason moves, and if this confidence is rewarded by Harbaugh getting Los Angeles into playoff form when next season rolls around.
