1 bettor won $489,000 off a miracle $5 NFL anytime touchdown parlay and his reaction was priceless

There are some touchdowns that just mean more.

For one bettor at DraftKings Sportsbook, Christian McCaffrey’s 9-yard TD in the second quarter of Monday Night Football against the Ravens was the culmination of an incredible $5 wager that turned into $489,383.01.

The bettor placed a $5 wager on a 14-leg anytime touchdown parlay for Week 16 NFL games, beginning on Saturday with Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris and Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis.

The bettor had to sweat out De’Andre Swift on Monday, as Swift was ruled down at the 1-yard line two separate times — including having a TD overturned — before scoring on a 6-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.

McCaffrey was a little less of a sweat, as the 49ers star is one of the safest bets this season to score a touchdown (he had scored in 12 of 14 games entering Monday’s game).

It’s quite the Christmas gift for that bettor and certainly a weekend he’ll never forget — especially with DraftKings opting not to offer the bettor a chance to cash out.
