Super Bowl odds entering NFL Week 8: Steady Chiefs reclaim top spot as more favorites falter

Over the last two weeks, all but one team with top-five Super Bowl odds has suffered a setback.

In Week 5, the Dallas Cowboys got their doors blown off by the San Francisco 49ers, who then suffered back-to-back losses to the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings.

The Buffalo Bills lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, then barely survived the New York Giants just to lose to the New England Patriots on Sunday. The Miami Dolphins also lost Sunday, to the Philadelphia Eagles, who got beat by the New York Jets the previous week.

And while we all waited for one of those teams to set themselves apart as the best team in the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs just continued trucking along, improving to 6-0 since losing their season opener. With San Francisco’s latest loss, the Chiefs are back on top of the list of best Super Bowl odds — where they belong — for the first time since Week 3.

And here’s a look at the real-time odds at BetMGM.
