When two undefeated boxers square off for a shot at welterweight supremacy, with both being among the very best in their sport today, one of them has to be considered the favorite.
For Saturday’s fight between Terence Crawford (39-0, 30 KO) and Errol Spence Jr. (28-0, 22 KO), that person is Crawford, who has -150 odds at DraftKings to come away with the win. Spence sits at +120.
That doesn’t exactly make Crawford a heavy favorite, but it does set a level of expectation for what he should do, which could create slightly more pressure for him if he lets it.
Judging by his response to a question about whether he would get the job done as the favorite, it doesn’t sound like he’s letting it.

“Of course we gonna get the job done, man. Of course,” Crawford said.
That’s the response of someone who doesn’t sound too concerned about his opponent, as boxers tend to be before a big fight. Spence has been projecting confidence too. We’ll find out soon enough which one can back it up in the ring.
