This would be a lowlight for LSU from Game 3 of the College World Series, but that might be the only one.
Because the Tigers are champions thanks to an 18-4 annihilation of Florida. So this strikeout — in which Gators pitcher Jac Caglianone reared back and threw a 99 MPH fastball on Tre’ Morgan, who fell down as he swung — isn’t a huge deal.
But because ump cam is amazing, the view is spectacular. The ball coming out of Caglianone’s hand might look like it’s going to head over the plate — perhaps Morgan saw a fastball and had to decide to swing — but as it comes up, it fools the hitter:
