Mattress Mack stoically ripped up his ticket after losing another million dollar bet at the Kentucky Derby

Famed gambler Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale did not make the best decision at the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.

After putting $1.2 million on last-minute favorite Angel of Empire for the day’s big race, he saw that wager disappear in thin air as Mage topped the field and won the Kentucky Derby.

It’s the second-straight year Mack has lost a million-plus on the Kentucky Derby by backing the wrong horse.

While Mattress Mack can always afford to lose a bad bet, he looked pretty ticked off as the race ended as he ripped up his losing Kentucky Derby ticket.

Hey, even the best bettors can have rough afternoons, and Mack is definitely not immune to taking out his frustration on the bad ticket responsible for it.

However, Mattress Mack seemed like he was in good spirits after the race ended as he shifted his attention to betting on his beloved Houston Astros.

Of course, that went well for him last year as he walked away with a historic U.S. sports betting payout after Houston won the 2022 World Series.
