The PGA Championship gears up on Thursday, and bettors are riding with this year’s Masters winner.
BetMGM reported that golfer Jon Rahm has the most bets of any golfer going into the PGA Championship with 8.3-percent of all wagers.
Two golfing heavyweights, Brooks Koepka and 2022 Masters winner Scottie Scheffler, are right behind Rahm in the bet shares going into the major event.
While you never know which golfer will get hot on the green in any given tournament, Rahm has plenty of momentum behind him after winning at Augusta.
It makes sense that bettors are following his lead and wagering on him to keep it going.

As the PGA Championship gets underway, we’ll see how Rahm adjusts to being the favorite in the field and if bettors will be rewarded for their faith in him.
It’s hard to really predict how these things go, but Rahm’s new green jacket is proof enough of why he’s a betting favorite right now.
