With the Baltimore Ravens finally agreeing to a new contract with quarterback Lamar Jackson, oddsmakers have jumped back on the Baltimore bandwagon.
The odds on Baltimore’s Super Bowl chances have jumped from +3000 to +2200 on Jackson’s new deal alone, not even including what the team does in the 2023 NFL Draft in the next couple of days.
One would think a trade for a player like wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins could boost these odds even more, but the fact that Jackson will be back in Baltimore is already a huge swing in the Ravens’ favor.
Basically, if you’re buying stock in the Ravens, now is the time to do it.

The new Jackson contract keeps Baltimore squarely in the AFC picture next season, and it keeps the Ravens from having to figure out any sort of contingency plan at the most important position on the field.
This was the best outcome for all sides in the equation, and oddsmakers have smiled on this fortuitous day in Baltimore.
