Alabama football coach Nick Saban told reporters on Wednesday that Tua Tagovailoa will be a game-time decision for the Crimson Tide’s Nov. 9 showdown with LSU.
The quarterback left the game Oct. 19 against Tennessee after a tackle from behind left him with a high-ankle sprain. Earlier this week, he underwent a minor procedure called “tightrope” surgery to speed up the healing process.
Saban said Tagovailoa returned to practice on Wednesday and that the staff will evaluate his progress in the lead-up to the LSU game.
In seven games this season, the Heisman candidate has completed 74.7 percent of his passes for 2,166 yards, 27 touchdowns, and two interceptions.
