The Jacksonville Jaguars are 0-2 and star cornerback Jalen Ramsey wants out, according to multiple reports.
Both ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday evening that the 24-year-old requested a trade from the team, which drafted him fifth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Ramsey and Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone got into an argument on the sidelines of Sunday’s one-point loss to the Texans. Staff members and teammates separated the player and coach during the confrontation. Schefter tweeted one day later than Ramsey’s agent David Mulugheta confirmed to him that trade was requested.
The Jaguars are asking for at least one first-round pick for their two-time Pro Bowl corner.
