If it’s almost a sport, ESPN The Ocho will have it.
The Worldwide Leader is bringing back its now-annual day of quirky sports on Wednesday, by turning ESPN2 into ESPN8, even though it’ll be on August 7 and not the 8th, as it’s been traditionally. It’s been a big success every year, with fans gushing over some of the sports they rarely get to see.
Of course, the day of programming will be bookended by airings of Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, the Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller flick that inspired this whole thing, and in between are some amazing tournaments and championships, including … dodgeball!
