We have reached peak NFL combine (although doesn’t every year in Indianapolis feel like that?) with the hoopla surrounding Kyler Murray’s measurables.
There is so much attention paid to the Heisman Trophy winner out of Oklahoma, specifically what his height (is he too short to play QB in the NFL?!), weight (he’ll be destroyed by 300-pounders!) and hand size (which turns out not to matter) would be when he was measured this week.
On Thursday, we got some answers: Murray is a hair (perhaps literally?) over 5-foot-10, over 200 pounds and his hands are actually bigger than those of some other notable names:
The fact that he’s 5-foot-10.1 (Schefter corrected it to 5-foot-10 1/8) had everyone making jokes:
This is all so absurd, isn’t it?
