Antonio Brown has already dropped the Steelers from his Twitter bio

Antonio Brown may still be under contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he certainly appears ready for a change.

Just two days after Steelers owner Art Rooney II told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that it would be “hard to envision” Brown being at Steelers training camp this year, the star receiver made a curious change to his Twitter bio:

He dropped all mention of the Steelers.

Brown wouldn’t be the first star wide receiver to scrub his current team from social media. Julio Jones did that with the Falcons before the season and subsequently fueled trade rumors. Jones, though, framed the social media purge as a “fresh start” and eventually agreed to a revised deal with the Falcons.

But as we know, Brown has been much more direct in basically doing everything he can to separate himself from the Steelers. It’s almost surprising that he’s waited this long to edit his Twitter bio.

Still, the edit absolutely caught the attention of NFL fans.

There’s no coming back from that.
