Joey Votto scrambles after foul grounder to troll Phillies fans

Reds first baseman Joey Votto is not merely the active MLB leader in on-base percentage and a Cooperstown-caliber hitter, but also a Hall of Fame troll. While on the road, he seems to delight in playing the heel, and has a long history of denying fans free baseballs, stomping their paper airplanes, jawing with hecklers, and mocking the “elite” sitting in the front row.

In the Reds’ matchup with the Phillies on Monday, a foul grounder past Votto appeared bound for some Phillies fans Votto deemed unworthy of a souvenir. So he took action:
