Sister Jean has reached the ultimate status in sports: She has her own bobblehead.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum announced the creation of the bobblehead before Loyola, an 11-seed, clinched their trip to the Final four with a 78-62 win over Kansas State on Saturday.
From the museum’s website:
This bobblehead features Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, the 98-year-old nun who also serves as team chaplain and honorary assistant coach for Loyola University Chicago. Sister Jean and the Loyola Ramblers have been one of the best stories of the 2018 NCAA Tournament, and Sister Jean is now getting a new bobblehead. It is officially licensed by Loyola University Chicago.
The bobblehead, unfortunately, won’t be there in time to help you celebrate the team’s trip this month: It’s scheduled to ship in June.
