Virginia Tech's marching band did the 'Hokie Pokie' during halftime show

College marching bands often put on spectacular shows, particularly at halftime during football games. They get creative, have a little fun and sometimes troll other teams.

Virginia Tech’s band took its Camping World Bowl – the Hokies took on Oklahoma State – halftime performance opportunity to show off their dance skills while playing and making a goofy dad joke.

They played the “Hokie Pokie” – a play on the children’s song traditionally spelled Hokey Pokey – and, impressively, even the Hokies’ tuba players did the dance. And, to make this even more amusing, some Oklahoma State band members joined in too.

These musicians have moves.

Virginia Tech ultimately lost to Oklahoma State, 30-21.
