Dirty tackles in the NFL this season have nothing on one rugby player who received a 3-year ban after he blindsided a referee in the middle of a game.

According to a statement from the Italian rugby federation, Bruno Andres Doglioli deliberately tackled referee Maria Beatrice Benvenuti, an act the federation condemned as “unacceptable”.

A video of the moment, which has quickly spread across the internet, shows Doglioli running up behind Benvenuti and tackling her. According to Sky News, Doglioli received a yellow card and Benvenuti, who suffered from whiplash, finished officiating the game.
