During the Olympics, we declared former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch would be the perfect NFL player to take on rugby sevens.

Evidently, the man known as Beast Mode had a similar thought. While down in Australia, he visited the South Sydney Rabbitohs and gave it a shot.

His kicking could definitely use work, but otherwise, he looks like the perfect rugby specimen. Also, he tackled a reporter, so he’s still the same funny Lynch we all remember.
