7 Super Bowl predictions from all the Republican presidential candidates

The final Republican Presidential Debate before the New Hampshire primary took place on Saturday evening, and from a purely sports perspective, it was quite an eventful night.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie made a passing reference to watching the Mets at one point, and then shortly before candidates made their closing arguments, the moderators asked them to each make their Super Bowl prediction.

Here they are, in the order that they spoke:

“Carolina’s going to win that one. I hate to say it, but they’re going to win that one.”
