Doc Rivers hasn't talked to his son about being in the playoffs together, says he might be a 'bad dad'

Doc and Austin Rivers are heading into their first time in the playoffs as a father-son duo, which leads to lots of bonding time and sage wisdom from Doc to the younger Rivers right?

Not quite.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Clippers coach said he has literally “not had a conversation with him from a father and son point of view” about the playoffs.

The younger Rivers was traded to the Clippers in January. When asked then if he was likely to show favoritism towards his son, Doc Rivers told reporters: “I probably show favoritism to Blake [Griffin] and Chris [Paul]. I love my son, but I think I’m going to still favor Blake and Chris and those guys.”
