The running back got Buckeyes socks for Christmas and broke them out Sunday in honor of Ohio State’s big win three days earlier. The Buckeyes upset Alabama in the Sugar Bowl to reach the inaugural College Football Playoff title game.

“Very excited,” Herron said, a grin crossing his face.

Of course not everyone would see the pattern on Herron’s socks and think Buckeyes. One man’s Buckeyes socks are another man’s … well.
