This story has been updated with a statement from Google. And, was pretty predictable, by Tuesday afternoon the glitch had been fixed.

“Clearly we dropped the ball,” a Google spokesperson said in a statement. “We’re taking a timeout to huddle around the issue and expect to rebound soon.”

People on the internet found this to be very funny, because the NBA was not founded by Ball.
